In 2005, SiFu Adrian Tandez opened the Tandez Academy of Martial Arts with the goal of teaching reality-based self-defense and functional martial arts aka “realistic martial arts”. As a 3rd-generation instructor under the Bruce Lee lineage, SiFu Tandez teaches Bruce Lee’s highly sought after form of self defense, Jeet Kune Do (Way of the Intercepting Fist), in addition to other martial arts such as Wing Chun, Filipino Kali Escrima and Pencak Silat. We train our students like martial athletes, with a wide variety of innovative, modern training methods and drills. We offer a vast library of techniques. We also offer ranking and advancement in every art. To become a complete fighter prepared for any situation in the street, you have to train in every area of combat, both armed and unarmed.
