Big Apple Coins was founded by Jonathan Aminov in the heart of Queens, New York. Our journey began in a small storefront, where our passion for numismatics and a commitment to exceptional customer service quickly set us apart. Driven by a shared vision, we expanded our reach, attending local coin shows and engaging with the vibrant community of collectors.

At Big Apple Coins, we buy collectible items from the public every day. We are interested in rare coins, gold and silver bullion, watches, jewelry, and other collectibles. Whether you have a large lifetime collection or just a single item, we make the selling process straightforward and hassle-free.

Bring your items into our store, and our experts will carefully examine and appraise them. If you’re just curious about the value of your item, we welcome your inquiries. Once you know what your item is worth, you can decide whether to sell or keep it—there’s never any pressure to sell.

If you choose to sell, we typically pay on the spot with a check or cash.

Today, Big Apple Coins is a trusted name in the numismatic world. We continue to uphold the values that started it all, ensuring that every interaction, whether at a coin show, on Instagram, our website, or eBay, reflects our dedication to the hobby and our customers. Our New York roots remain a proud part of our identity as we strive to satisfy every customer 110%.
